Hello;
 I purchased the decoder thinking I read something that it could be used for the latest Walthers release of the SW1200 but now I can't seem to find anything about it.  Before I dive in I'd like some confirmation if it works and how far from "plug and play" it is.  Thanks.

I think you have to isolate the motor then flip the motor leads (top on bottom and bottom on top, and solder lead wires to the decoder.. not PnP but no frame milling.
