Hi Keith @kschmidt626 - which email address should we send these suggestions to?Here's some starting points for you:http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2915http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2916http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2917http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2918http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3024http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3038http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3081http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3085http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3086http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3098http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3760http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-4042Feel free to check out Eric's great Housatonic layout to get a feel for how good big structures and warehouses look in N:https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=25361.0
I guess "It was nice to talk you" would be the best way to start this. I was one of the N Scalers at the Walthers booth that told you to send N scale ideas to Walthers. I enjoyed the show and everyone that we talked to was great. Looking forward to next year. Keith
Damn, that's a bit much, isn't it?
But I would like to mention that, please don't just scale them down 50% from HO. Look for opportunities to make various parts less compressed. It kills me how small some of the Walthers "large" industrial buildings actually are.
I will echo the request for large industrial buildings for N scale. The larger sized buildings, with n scale detailing would be a welcomed addition.Eric
I think insulting bricks is a bit much, yes.why am I laughing?after the way the company that bought LL has acted toward n-scaleI am not too concerned about what that company does, or thinks.victor
I do like this one:http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3760
From my perspective, I'd love to see mach of what Walthers has done in HO Pennsy rolling stock in N scale, like RTR B60bs, N6 cabins, RB50s, etc. If BLI hits a home run with these PRR M1s, we're gonna need lots of stuff to run behind them!Keith, thanks for coming up on the net and listening.
I'm more concerned with the standard of civility around toward other forum participants. So I (and I'm sure the other moderators) DO care.
Walthers also got burned few times by making N scale items which did not sell (like the modular walls or their run of passenger cars), so they are a bit shy to make more N scale stuff.
