Is that a stepped hood on that CR unit (like the BM model)?

A badly needed model. They do indeed look good. When/if they release undecs I'll be in for a couple - second- or third-hand SW1s were pretty much a staple at mid-sized grain elevators.

Well, I guess I won't have to restart my project of shrinking one down from HO scale.

They must be close to being ready if they have one in a jewel case??

I would have never guessed this model made it into blue CR paint!

Yep, some even came with can openers...

I see the plain bearings on the models.  If they do CR and more modern are they going to do roller bearing trucks?

I swear; if someone put a five dollar bet out there that no one could find a Conrail Lima built steam engine, with a Vandy tender it wouldn't take this group 24 hours to find not one, but three different images..... did Conrail have a Climax and a Shay too?

Conrail didn't really clean house until 1987/1988 when they started flushing anything with a 567. The GP8 lasted until the 90's, the GP10 made it right up to the end. Even SW1200 made it into CRQ! They had electrics that were near 80 when they were finally retired.

I heard that NS was going to arrange the Conrail Rocket to lead something through Newport on the day of the CRHS BBQ!
