Monroe WA Train Show

Well, Paul P won't start it, so I will.
We (he's driving) will be going to the United Northwest Train Show in Monroe this Saturday.
I don't have much on my list this time, but I'm always looking for the odd Northern Pacific gem in the flotsam.
The ngineering table is a must see, though. I need some 2x3 LEDs for a few projects.

I'll be there with Mt Rainier N-Scale. There was some progress on the New Ballard Why and we'll be showing it off.
Always a good show with lots of things to damage Mr Wallet.

I also will be with Mt Rainier N-scale, I'm bringing a mix of European and NP stuff with me to run, and plan on giving the Why some more high speed testing with both of my ICE consists.

I'm planning on raiding the tables also, Hoping to find some good stuff, You're gonna have to battle me for the NP stuff Roger!!  :scared:

But if you're running trains, Mike, I'll be way ahead of you.
Hmm, unless you get to check out the tables before the masses are let in! Like me.
I'll be sure to look for you and Greg at the Mt. Rainier layout. I think it's one of the best layouts at the Northwest shows. It's always top-notch work.

Thanks Roger, I'll be at the layout most of the time, so stop by.

Looking forward to going Roger
Myself I think of this as the best show we have in the Pacific Northwest
Always a good time and and look forward to  railfanning Everett on the way home!
Did hear it is expected to be bigger than last year.

I so lament that I can't go to Monroe this year.  I went last year and it was well worth the trip up
from Portland.  But just too many family things going on.

Have fun!

Oh God...
You do realize that my layout room has enough open floor space for a grand total of about 3 people, standing,
right?  And that's if they get "cozy"    LOL!

Well, I am here already, and set up in my camper. Long story, but I'm camping here at the fair grounds, instead of the place I had planned. At least my camper is comfortable and I have power!!

WoW!! Great Show, lots of cool stuff for sale and it was great to see the many  :ashat: that stopped by the layout to say hello.
Haven't seen Wazzou it many, many moons. 8)
New Ballard Why and the rest of the layout working great, except for the gremlin attack at about 3:00pm.
I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Greg, it was really good to see you as well.  Hopefully as my kids are getting older, I'll be able to get public more often.
I did see Tim Horton but was able to remain incognito.   8)
