I still have the drawings and might revisit them someday.  When I received the test print I realized that it was going to be quite a challenge getting it on the Bachmann chassis and frankly gave up!

can I get you to print one of these for me?

I think I still have the file somewhere. I've learned a lot since I drew this one, it will definitely need some tweaking but I'll see what I can do.

while I may get greedy for more than one...
I was thinking of an H.   the Atlantic needs a trailing truck
and I am not sure if BLI will sell them without a loco attached.

Finally had a few free hours yesterday afternoon to get back to this project!  BTW Victor, I haven't forgotten about your Pennsy H9 request!

Added some pilot details - air compressors behind the shields, coupler cut bar with pirated Bachmann stanchions, and a Kato FEF bell.  I bought a Bachmann headlight but its much too large, I'm probably going to have to print one.


Some wire mesh serves nicely as the radiator screen.  Lots of Tichy phosphor bronze wire too.


Some more plumbing along the boiler, and finally starting to work on the ride height.

I wonder if a coat of Mr. Surfacer 1000 would fill in some of the striations?

Nice pioneering work, some of the FUD imperfections notwithstanding. Let's not forget we're looking at a close to O scale magnification here. Shrink it to N scale size and she will look mighty fine. Following this with great interest...
