I finished the church that I made from the top two modules of the CMR Fyfe Building.

One of the things I most admire about the modelers on this site is their ability to "see" structures, other than what was intended, in kits. And this is an absolutely prime example. I never would have spotted the church in those upper floors. Great eye, Roger. And superb modeling. You get a dozen gold stars, for that one. (Even minus the gargoyles.  )

Let's see here... What did I do this weekend...

Oh! That's right!

I spent money.
Leaving no stone un-turned, I scoured Amherst from top to bottom for anything useful to me be it for some of my nameless projects, or "big" projects like Killashandra, for which I bought some Silfor static grass. I wish they offered a 3mm length because it took me forever to decide between 4mm and 2mm fibers.

I also picked up a couple large photo prints to be used as the basis of my first Free-MoN module.
I probably should have bought a couple more of the station from different angles, but at $9.50 each those blokes were lucky that I bought two. If the were only $5 I would have walked away with probably 5 of the darned things.

I also bought two of the FVM PRR H30s in CK. Damn do they look good. Another model that I won't be able to bring myself to try and weather.
Now I just need to figure out how to take them apart to remove any weights. 

I also bought a few more Atlas 40' woodside reefers that I didn't know I needed.

Plus plenty of other goodies. Like for instance a PRR book of some specific type of rules, and it was printed in 1889.
Not the oldest rail-related document I own. But it is the oldest PRR document I own.

I also had some kind of fancy Canadian potato chips that were Maple-Bacon flavored.
Best. Chips. Ever.
@peteski hopefully remembers the brand name, because I sure as heck don't.

I also should apologize to anyone I didn't say hello to.
It's tough being the only PRR Defense Corpsman for such a large venue.

After many months of fits and starts, my small switching line, the Canton, Highlandtown and Fells Point is starting to take shape.  Laid some track in the depot area.


Taking a little time to do it right, since there isn't that much to do in such a small area.  Pre-wiring the turnouts prior to installation, making sure everything is true and level etc.  The three big players in East Baltimore represented, B&O with an old Arnold S-2, WM with a Baldwin, and PC with an SW (borrowed from Carl's decoder installation that still waiting for a decoder!)

Before I get too far ahead of myself, I have to get BG&E to trench in power lines for the building and street lighting!

I've been working on a canyon scene for the wye leading into staging (through the tunnel) on the upper level.  There is a 2nd bridge before the tunnel, but it has been removed for now.

Those were made by the company which makes the President's Choice brand products distributed in U.S.  But I don't think those chips are available in USA.

I agree David , the rocks a superb and that will be a great narrow scenic area with the bridges and all.
