Latest pics look good! All the prior pix poofed?

Mark

Looking at the early posts it appears that the photos were hosted in some Facebook repository, and have unrecognizable names (in their URLs)..

The Petester is right.
It was easiest for me to snap shots on my phone and upload them nearly seamlessly to a facebook album. I'd then go and use the photo URLs and post them here.

I didn't know those links would eventually expire. I think there was a time where they actually didn't (I've been using Facebook since 2004!).

Anyways, the pictures aren't lost. They are all still on facebook and in a reasonably logical order that I can use to restore them. Again, I would simply need to upload them to Flickr and link them in the correct order with the correct captions.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Or better yet, why not upload them here to the gallery?  Yes, it might be slightly more work to do it that way, but the pictures will be guaranteed to stay with the thread for as long as TRW is online.  To me that makes the most sense. I am a huge proponent of dong that (but I'm sure you know that).  Any other hosting location is not guaranteed to be available for any length of time.  And even if those photos are very large, TRW automatically resized them smaller during upload. Personally I resize all my photos to 1200 pixels across or less, before upload.  I'm a control freak and like to  do things myself.  :)

With the photos restored, this will again be a Best Of thread.  :)

That's a good idea. Since my TRW Membership was upgraded to Double Plaid, I won't feel bad about the bandwith that Rich Uncle Mannybagg$ has to pay for! :tommann:

I should also mention that we recently consolidated our mortgage and my wife's med school loans through the TRW Amazon link.

I was wondering why Bezos personally thanked me on their 1st Quarter earnings conference call.
