The K4 looks awesome Josh.
I would just add a touch of flat dusted black on the rods and rub a graphite black led pencil on the raised portions of the rods to make them pop a bit.

I've seen it in person. It's a work of art.
You're a work of art.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Looks pretty good.

Needs a little contrasting grease around the journal box on the trailing truck, for contrast (or variation).

Lol. Probably.

It's hard to get quick quality shots of the whole thing from my phone:

That's exactly the plan! Now I just have to glue that EM1 back together!

I love how you managed to maintain an oily appearance while making it so dusty...
Very true to your proto photo...

Thanks!
My colors match the pics, but the sand/ivory colors on the wheels throw me. It looks too light to be dry mud. It looks like not enough gray to be ballast dust. It's interesting.
