Would it save time and trouble if I just had my paycheck direct deposited to the MT account?

Any hints on what the prototypes for the mail-baggage and horse car might be?

At the rate things are going, I figure that within a week, someone will announce a 1937 Super Chief, an FT-T (ATSF flatcar, although already on the hook for a few of the BLMA), and a single window coach.  In which case, what will I do with the layout after I sell the house to buy all of it.

The Mail Baggage is a Burlington Proto and the Horse car is Southern Pacific.  We did the design for a single window coach before we did the duel window, but were looking at significant bowing issues given the lack of material on the upper half of the car.  We have to watch when we run the duel window for the same bowing issues coming out of the tooling.  I know it doesn't seem like much difference, but it is...I am hoping, given our experience over these years to get the single window Coach back into the design Que.

Well, well, well!...this one slipped under my radar!!! Now, I'll be researching the SP horse cars and how similar/different they may be from the ATSF horse/express cars!

You could use these links to check for differences... one of the biggest is that some of Espee's were Harriman with rounded top door corners...

LOL...first place I checked!!!!
I have two more ATSF Horse cars to build from Roberto's sides...Think I'll continue to use my remaining Rivarossi cars for this one since I only need one 'blind' end for the horse car.
I'll be getting two of the MT horse cars for the proper SP-style cars!

The Burlington mail-baggage sounds like another winner.  CB&Q had a couple different prototypes, but like the Erie baggage cars, they are good generic cars, and with a little fiddling, could represent a lot of railroads.  Wonder if I can cut and paste a couple of them into Wabash cars (which have 2 baggage doors on each side).

Joe- did not mean to get on your case about single window coaches, and I really appreciate the explanation.  I had heard about "production difficulties" but did not realize you had gotten so far as to have tooling made- must have been a major disappointment for the company, so sorry for bringing it up.  Hope the issues can be resolved, because I think it would be a popular seller.

Meanwhile....I gotta save up for the next several weeks because if I don't get in orders early, I think Bruce will buy up the whole production run of baggage cars.

Is it possible to supply extra decals for numbers in the event that you don't produce sufficient road numbers for these very in demand baggage cars?

Nice picture.  I'm happy. Please do them in Erie two tone green at some point.  And undecorated. Lots of those.  I will end up buying more of these than any of the previous heavyweights.  Now I need to begin scouring photos to try to figure out how many road names I can paint these into, or modify them into, etc.

To make matters worse, I realize looking at the photo that it would not be a major effort to cut these down into 60' cars and drop them onto an RPO underframe.  So I may end up with more than 8.  At this rate, I will also need to find a very nice gift for my wife.
