Because of the micro size of the suspended graphite, there is virtually no settling that occurs.  Just normal movement during shipment or use is more than enough to keep the particles in suspension.  The neolube I've used is made for the nuclear industry, so it may differ somewhat in quality compared to what is commercially available.  I don't recall seeing "shake well before using" on the containers.:)

@mmagliaro, having no experience or knowledge of this product, is there any issue when transferred from a one gallon container to a 2oz. jar, that each receive the necessary requisite amount of suspended graphite?
You betcha.  I thought of the same thing and I asked about that when I talked to the rep at Huron Industries.
They told me just to be sure to shake up the gallon jug well before pouring out the 2 oz jars.

So that's what I did.  The first batch of jars is filled.

I generally agree that the stuff doesn't settle out nearly as badly as paint.  But when the jar sits on your bench for a while,
you do need to stir it or shake it up before use.  I'm sure the rep was advising me to make sure that I got a good mix.
By the way, the Neolube I am using here is indeed an industrial lubricant used in the nuclear industry.

The only thing holding this up now are the little 4" cube-shaped shipping boxes I ordered to mail these in.
Those haven't arrived yet.  I've got 60-odd jars filled and ready to go.

If the offer is still open, I'd like a bottle. Preferred payment method?

All:

I have the Neolube, and I have it already portioned out into nice 2 oz glass jars.  The hold-up is that I have not received the shipping boxes I need to send it out to anyone.  They were in the same order with the jars, but there was some mix-up at the place I ordered them from and they are delayed.  I hope they will show up any day now.

As soon as I have them, I will send out a few jars to some select "guinea pigs", just to make sure that
nothing goes wrong sending them through the mail (I will contact a few of you who have expressed interested via PM and see if you will be an "early adopter").  Assuming that goes okay, I will open a new thread with an announcement containing ordering information and everybody will be able to order them at that time.

Right now... I need *(#)(*@#   boxes!   I got a call from Freund today.  They said the boxes were being
shipped from a 3rd party supplier, who thinks I should already have them (I don't), and because I don't,
they are shipping them again today... so... what... 3 more days before I see them.   Drat.

Update:

The boxes arrived today.  I sent out a "guinea pig" shipment.   It will take about a week to arrive at its destination.
Assuming it arrives safely, I can start send these out to anyone who wants one.

If you PM me, I will give you instructions for ordering and paying.  Just be aware, I will not be sending any out until
about next Tuesday (assuming my test shipment goes okay).

Thanks!
