@wm3798 @davefoxx

Worry not.  The Hard Hat was last seen somewhere in the vicinity of Lewistown.

(It doesn't actually live there permanently, by there's a space that I can slip it into for just such :ashat: situations.)

Point of order.  It's Burhans Blvd.
Now go up to the blackboard and write it correctly 100 times.  And yes, you must spell out "Boulevard"

Lee

PS... I wonder whatever became of this?  It ended up in the hands of one of my crew, but I can't recall which one.

As soon as I can find a blackboard, I'll get write on that :D

It's funny, looking at the roadway, I think I have the module/piece of the layout that that scene sat on.  Ed gave it to me the first time I met him when I borrowed his DT402 when my Zephyr blew up.

You do indeed. And I still have the overpass around here somewhere. It's yours if you need it.

Well if that's the case, I guess I HAVE to model the underpass now :D  As well as the yard office.  @wm3798 weren't you possibly working on drawing that up in your free time ?

Lighting? Holy crap dude. You need some Betz lights! They've changed my life.
Wait until the cops start sniffing around wondering why you keep it so bright in your basement.

These wonderful things from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Barrina-Integrated-Fixture-Utility-Electric/dp/B07DNPL2VC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1551119268&sr=8-7&keywords=led%2Blights&th=1

They've turned my basement from a seedy bar into a grow house for <$100. They're incredibly easy to install and can be powered from the mains or outlets.

I've been calling them "Betz Lights" in honor of @DeltaBravo who turned me onto them.

Drats. I have two of three fluorescent units failing in my garage and the wife's approved me installing new lights. But between the exposed wiring and the refresh rate some customers have complained about on these, I don't think they'll work.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Free time.  Oh you're funny!

(but I have been looking for a new distraction to procrastinate a couple of complex projects... :D)

I don't know, I haven't seen any refresh issues.
And exposed wiring? I mean, yeah, at the ends. But it's easy to tuck that away. I'll get some pics of my installation in a minute.

Adam,
Not sure if you're in the market for another one, but MMID GP39 302 is listed on N Scale 4 Sale on facebook.  Not sure if you're tuned in to that channel.  Guy wants $95 for DCC ready engine. Says it hasn't been used and has original box.
If you're in for it, I'll contact the guy.
