Smaller than #80 drill bits...on the cheap...

I've been using a Tungsten Carbide bit as a test for some detailing I've been tinkering, with really great results. Basically I haven't broken the bit yet. Tonight I went on a search to find more in the advent my luck runs out. Last time I looked for smaller than #80 multiple places wanted $5+ range for a single bit last time I looked. Found the site below and just picked up 10 gently used #83 bits, for 8 franks and 93 beans plus shipping.

Ugh...handful more twists maybe? Don't really know, the #83 bit I have is from the mix master T-C Micro Bits from Harbor Freight for $4. I am almost certain these are 'gently used' given the price.

It's Tungsten Carbide, unless you're drilling metal, you'll probably never notice a difference. You'll break it before it, wears out.

It depends on the wear. I have some new and some "used" TC bits and there is a noticable difference in how they drill (when drilling manually, by hand).  The new ones are so nice to use.  Used ones still work but not quite as well (even when drilling in plastic).  But since the TC bits are sharpened to a split point, even the used ones drill so much better than standard inexpensive HSS bits.

I received the bits on Friday in the post. They work, even better than the HF TC bit I have been using. 9 bucks 10 bits, well worth it.
