The latest sample parts from the GSC Well Car tooling arrived today.

Some minor tweaking and production is set to go.  More pics in the ESM Newsletter, which will be distributed tomorrow.

Bryan,
That does look good.  Do you expect primer painted versions at some point?  I ask because the rivet detail barely shows in the white. . . .

No rivets on this prototype, as it is a steel casting.  There is diamond tread walkway and GSC shields on the sides, in addition to the keyholed deck plates.  Shooting for deco'd pilot models before the end of this year, and they will be on display at the Springfield show in January.

There are some photos of gray-primer bodies in the Newsletter.  But I wanted bare plastic sent this time so I could verify that all the detail was correct.

Looks very nice Bryan but to me the engraved gaps between the boards seem to be a bit too wide and deep (ot of scale).  The latest Rapido wood reefer is a good example on how to properly model this feature. :D

Looks pretty, but a little too esoteric to get my blood going. Sorry Bryan!

Looks great Bryan.  I am looking forward to the Conrail and Penn Central cars in the first release.  Thanks.

Looking good!  Nice job Bryan!  I'm in for an LV and maybe an NYC one as well.  Hopefully I won't miss out on these like the G32c's.

The G32c will return at some point next year, as will the Low Side Gondola.

And now you have me hooked . . . . remind me how long these remained in service.

Long enough to receive multiple paint schemes. Jeff would know better, as he has the full class documented. I do know the some of them stayed in PC livery. The class was built in 1958, so they may have lasted until the end of CR.

I can't wait get one in LV and a PC! This is a car I never thought I would see made!

That said, is this a car I preorder from my dealer or order direct from ESM?
