BLI - stock cars with sound

Page 23 of the December MR has a full page ad from BLI. Along with the M1, PA, E6/7/8/9 engines and H2 hoppers is an announcement for a stock car with sound in N for 2015. Not really my cup of tea, but it will probably beat Athearn's reefer buzz.

I wouldn't want any stock cars full of visible electronics and a speaker.

Hmm... too bad real
cows don't come that
small...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Regarding the sound equipped freight car announcements of the last few days - here are the best comments I've heard about the situation!!!!!

" I have seen the ad. Just think of it, a meat processing plant with cars of live cows on one side and reefers cars buzzing on the other side. Now all you need is sound of cows going though the plant.

Al "

------

" So sound going through the plant...Moo, whack, thud, buzzzzz, chop, chop, chop, slice....

This is taking the sound thing to a new level of ridiculousness. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

4 packs only.

That's what they're doing with the non-sound version. Smart - these things ran in blocks. Too bad the car it's based on is not my preferred road, even though they offer it in foobie paint.

Ha ha ha.... Slaughter House Sounds. Perfect for every layout on Halloween.

I hope they include the cow tipping "thud" when the cars stop suddenly.

BLI needs to release a Conrail Rail-B-Q set with sound and smell.

You can then go online for additional sounds like Weldon's calf muscle tearing.

Oh yeah with a BBQ grill that's onfire and putting out more smoke than a K4.

At one of the HO layouts I use to operate on, we had a stock car which made cow noises and had a sensor which activate it as as movement was sensed.  We would have  impromptu contesst who could make it the loudest.  The key was rough switching,  If you derailed you were disqualified!

Hmm... that sounds like
animal cruelty to me...
