Andy:  Not seeing your photos here or on your website . . .

Tim

Try these..   They look better than the others anyway.    Amazing what turning a few lights on does to improve things

Very nice and clean BC Rail. Interesting choice of fascia color, I don't know that I've ever seen gray fascias before. I like them. Not as in your face and contrasty as black and yet crisp enough to define the diorama effect. Nice work on the backdrops too.
Mark, that mill scene is really coming together well, like the backdrop, too.
As to scenic fly fishing next to the railroad, there are places along the upper Colorado River along the old D&RGW Dotsero cutoff that are just amazing. I rode the Zephyr through there yesterday on my way to Denver, with glorious fall colors everywhere...

Thank you - looks great.  You have me wondering about the suitability of photo backdrops for my layout.

These photographs are obvious candidates for your display board . . .

Yes they are.   Display board content is the priority now.  I think I found the font you all use on your boards  "Copperplate Bold".   It's my new favorite.

In case anyone is interested Canadian Pacific recently relettered these cars with the coaches now being CP http://51 and 52 while the business car has become CP 50.  Makes me wonder if they will soon be repainted into CP's new bright red passenger car scheme, as shown on CP 1, ex-CN Sandford Fleming.

Bill, whose coach is it that you used?  Hate to admit it but I don't recognize it... definitely some really fine work!!!

Do you mean to say that ex CP 2200 coaches have made there way back into CP ownership and might yet be repainted back into CP colours?

Illustrates the lesson that you can't run from your history!

I'm still trying to get over being pretty sure that is a Lowell Smith business car he painted over.

The coaches look to me like the Walthers NYC coaches (smooth side version), could that be?

Yes, they are Walthers coaches and a Lowell Smith business car. They're not mine, I just did the paint job.

Progress has been slow, but the town of Tehachapi is starting to take shape. Roads, curbs, and sidewalks are next.

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Those photos look great and I know taking them and laering them together was a lot of work.

Have you given any thought to selling the images for individual use on other's layouts?

Andy,

You are correct.  Copperplate Bold is what I have used almost exclusively for adding photo captions and layout diagram text on the display boards.  For the "Layout Statistics" sheets, I have used Arial.

Cheers,
