Looks great!

What else do you have up your sleeve for the future?

I got the printout from Shapeways. I actually was surprised by quality. It needs a little sanding on the front and less on the sides.

Next project are the detail parts for the railway station.

The vending machine will get some Evergreen sheets and colored Fimo pieces for the snacks and a clear sheet for the window.

Judging by the translucent color of the printouts I think you didn't wash the wax off.  Once you completely remove the wax the part will most likely become white and fuzzy.

I used a sonic cleaner which removes most of the wax without frosting the plastic. I still have to pick up a bottle of Bestine.

I usually only see "fuzziness" after soaking in Bestine on the trailing edge of the print. That comes off easily with a toothbrush or careful scraping with an Exacto type knife. It appears that the ultrasonic cleaner has done a pretty good job of removing the unwanted stuff. I've seen many FUD prints cleaned up to look totally transparent.

Are you going to be offering these items for sale eventually?

After everything works, it will be available through Shapeways. I don't know how many people out there have use for such a car since it is only used in one single town in Switzerland, as far as I know.

In Sketchup, if you use the "Window" dropdown menu and select "styles", and then click on 2nd picture from the left (default) you will get crisper images without the end of line dots. I'm not sure why the default style is not automatically selected. You have to physically select it.
