Royal Hudson

as in sides, being the plural of side

I am enjoying learning how to modify text . . . .

Darn it.

Awesome.

I hope by later this evening I'll have pics of a built up M420/M420b, or four, for youTim.

You are making very quick progress on the M-420s given the complexity of the kits.  Which scheme do you intend to paint them in?

From what I have seen in pictures, the Dash 8-40CM appears to be a very similar type of kit.  I hope to see Jeff's pilot model in person next time I see him.  I am looking forward to seeing finished BCOL and CN versions posted here.  It would be nice to see someone do a CN M-420 too; although I gather they were primarily eastern engines.

Thanks Tim. They are awesome kits and Jeff's instructions are very good.

I plan to do an A and a B unit in green, an A unit in red white and blue, and a B unit in the hockey stick.  I used to plan only to model sort of 1985 to 1989 but that's gone out the window as I have basically started building at least one of every loco in use from 1985 up until the end. The truth is I really like the more modern red white and blue, and plain blue power as well. So my operations will be based in my official time period but everything will be available for use when I get the urge.

I've emailed you with a question.

They are so popular and well made. Instead of not making models anymore, you should make a Royal Hudson. Yeah. That's what you should do.  :)

Yes...the real big part is the master. I could bang out some production but someone has to draw it in 3D first.

Hmm... too bad Leonardo
da Vinci is dead...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Jeff, did you sell out of the M420? They were listed on the website as available the other day, but have vanished today... in fact I can only see the C40-8M available for order.

Congrats Jeff, they're great models and I'm glad I got my five. Was thinking of grabbing a few additional ones when I order a few C40's, but no worries.

It looks like it will be a fairly simple build. Fitting it to the chassis will be interesting.
