I guess I'm still waiting for a better 3D printing technology to become affordable and available to the hobbyists. I just don't see the point of having a custom (very special, unique, and not available from manufacturer) locomotive made if it will end up looking like a Bachmann model from the 70s - with paint so thick that all the edges are rounded and the details (like door lines) are basically almost invisible. But I realize that others might have different opinions about this.
