New 'Tag a User' feature

Okay thanks.  I was just thinking that actual names could be used in place of user names.

You have to wait for the box to pop up with the names.  It takes a while (but everything is taking forever right now).  I think you can work around the pop up if you know the member number.  Tom is 11

edit - Maybe this doesn't work as I'm not getting any 'mentions' in my profile.

@wcfn100 do you see an alert by the Profile link at the top?

You actually need to start typing one or two letters of the name after the @ to get the list to appear, @reinhardtjh.

Okay.  It works now.  Last night when I was trying it the site was in one of it's slow periods.  It seriously took 2-3 minutes for the reply box to show up.  And I had a "[1]" by the "Profile" menu this morning so I'm guessing Tom's mention worked and maybe Jason's didn't because of the way he did his?  Or else it's once per thread?  Hmmm. Will quoting a tag cause it to trigger another notification?
