Interesting.  Don't both Minitirx and Fleischmann already make a model of that loco?  Do we need another one? :|

I also realize that this is totally OT for this thread.  :D

Quite OT ;), but both Fleischmann and Minitrix do have them. As a matter of fact, the Minitrix version was the base for the PRR I1 decapod, with the misaligned cilinders.

Regardless, I'd be on board for one of those.....

Exactly, so BLI is getting ready to produce an I1!

K4, K4, K4

But hey, I'll take an I1 or a J1 too.  I've got 2 M1's on order with BLW, so I hope these get made and that it is the beginning of a long line of Pennsy steam from BLI.

Well hilariously BLI has taken down the photos that showed the other model but imo it can't be that German Decapod, the cab doesn't tilt inwards towards the roof, it's square.

Hmmm - to me it clearly does tilt inwards.

There was a shot from above showing it's square, sadly it's been taken down

Can opener? Check. Can of worms? Check.

My personal preference would be for the I1 next. We'll have to see how well the M1s and centipedes sell.

Well, the BR52 has a square cab and just look at the detail around the firebox. For me it is a BR52, which unfortunately is not the best starting point for an I1 as Minitrix sadly has proven.

I would love to see an S160 come to market. I would think that Bachmann would be the ones to produce it though.
Only issue is that they would have to make it in 1:160th and 1:148.

A thought occurs about that second locomotive. I believe I read that BLI got the photos from the manufacturer. That second loco may be from a different client and have nothing to do with BLI.

Eric is looking forward to completing his T1 class roster when BLI releases them in N.
