Yes, please. The previous settings still work, but the link to manage buddy/ignore lists has apparently vanished. I've found it an extremely useful remedy for controlling high blood pressure.

I remember when I used to read just about every post here. Now I have to pick the most relevant ones to me and "mark read" all the other ones. I guess those people are getting something useful so I can't complain. But sometimes I hit "show unread posts since last visit" and I'm like damn  that's a lot of stuff to sort.

Description:
Adds the ability to ignore individual topics for the purposes of RecentPosts/Recent/UnreadReplies/Unread sections of SMF.

I have the exact same issue,  every time I look at "Show unread posts since last visit" -- which is pretty much every time I return to the board.   It is much more apparent nowadays than in years past since there are more users and more frequent topic updates.  It sure would be nice to filter out the ones I am no longer interested in.

I also am adding back in board descriptions.  Not because you really need them, but because they give a little more space between boards links to make it easier on the mobile users.

We can have a bash forum with subfora for each manufacturer!

We can have a Bachmann bash forum, an MTL bash forum, an Intermountain bash forum, a Walthers bash forum, and an assorted "I'm just angry" forum.  Each individual chronic basher (you know who you are!) can choose his least favorite manufacturer and post his bashing all the live long day!

Then we can wall it off from the rest of the Railwire population so we don't have to see that crap anymore.

Just a thought!

From what I remember when I had to ignore someone, there was a button on their forum posts, as well as on their profile. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Buddy/Ignore lists. I'll check it out, hon.
