What trucks?  These will be gliding on rubber bladders (like a hovercraft).  That is one of the things MT messed up on this model. Well the thickens of the walls is also way out of scale.

PRR 492197 would be a good number for one in yellow, though you probably won't see the number by the time MT adds it to their weathered line of cars.

PC MOW equipment was yellow. Or sometimes deepwater green...  Actually it was the Pennsy that used gray before yellow on most MOW equipment.

Yep, the PRR switched from grey to yellow for MOW equipment in 1953, not to say though that there were no straglers who got painted later.

Absolutely! I think this is the attraction in MOW equipment modeling!

I'd rather just have an undecorated version for MOW conversions. Many of those MOW cars got their windows plated over. I'd rather plate them over, then paint and decal.
And as far as decals go, I think I have nagged John Frantz of MVS enough that he may release his MOW decals in N. You're welcome, internet. 

Again, not everyone wants to count rivets (even thought they are clearly visible), so I understand the appeal.
I do, after all, own both those N Scale Enthusiast PRR MOW cars.

Of all the color photos that I have seen on the internet only one of them showed a car in gray so I thought the yellow was more common.    Such is unfortunately something a person can do much about when there isn't money for things like books...

Jerry - it's not surprising - probably a lot more photos were taken of mundane stuff as time wore on.

I was surprised when I learned PRR ever used gray - since all I had ever seen was yellow - which continued into PC days.
