Gunther's all the way, baby.  Mr. Boh sits on a throne of lies.  I wept back in the late 80s as I watched the soulless developer cut up the beautiful stainless steel tanks from that building and shove them out the window.  To let that scab brewery advertise their foreign swill there is like putting a windmill and a pirate ship on the 16th at Augusta.

Brewed by Pabst in some god-forsaken slag heap in PA, and purports itself to be from the Land of Pleasant Living.

When Mr. Boh lives in Baltimore again, I'll consider it.

A-frickin-men...I see the millenials and hipsters drinking cans of that swill my skin crawls...it can't touch the Coors of the Chesapeake.  I get the same feeling when I pass by the old Tuborg brewery  on Hollins Ferry...the way the malt used to stink the area up.

Heh. I was hoping as much.

Too bad that Miller makes that nifty neon Boh man. That'd be a neat thing to have, but I agree.

Too bad the layout isn't modern day. A freelanced huge Heavy Seas or Union Craft plant would be awesome.

F'rinstance, I see this little block of buildings working their way up hill from right to left.  The White Tower would be at 0", and the green apartment house would be up at about 3/8"  The base under the White Tower are leftover from the old layout, and will be buried in the foam.  I might just move it to the higher corner to give it better visibility on the long side, but the massing seems to work better this way.

I'd leave the order of the buildings the way it is, I like the effect of the building getting larger as it gets higher up.

Have you ever met the owner, Hugh? You'd like him.

If you're heading this way on a weekend, check their site for the brewery tour with him. It's great.

Looks like the ESM White Tower kit.

I think I can sympathize with you, Lee. Rolling Rock moved out of Latrobe, PA and ceased being local. Of course, I never liked it to begin with, but still.

I'm still reeling from the loss of Wild Goose from Cambridge almost 15 years ago.  It used to be the absolute best beer to drink with steamed crabs.   Frederick Brewing bought them out and promptly moved production to their plant in western Maryland, and it took them about 2 years of tinkering with the recipe to make up for the water quality they lost when they left the shore.

I haven't bought a drop of it since they left.

Worked on a little urban renewal yesterday.  Found this old DPM building in the junk box, and gave it a nice 1960s face lift with some cheap aluminum siding and new picture windows.

Not sure whether it should be a tuxedo rental or a bail bonds place.  ( I already have enough greasy spoon diners... :P)

Lee,

About that aluminum siding.  I've noticed that a lot of rowhouses in Canton also have aluminum cladding on the crown/soffit molding at the top of the structures.  I assume this was because the homeowners didn't want the maintenance or were covering up deteriorating surfaces.  That would look great on some of your models; although, admittedly, it looks like sh!t on the prototypes.  But, if you really want to grab that urban, rundown, gritty look . . .
