On the gons the BN is definitely a stand-in, as Morning Sun's BN Color Guide has a photo of this same number.  The prototype is a CB&Q-built car, but the Atlas adaptation looks good.

Oddly, while D&RGW 6036 is apparently a correct number, the only 60xx cars I can find pictures of are narrow gauge flats...  The Rio Grande historical society folks list standard gauge gons in that series.

What a pity that they forgot (again) to offer an orange MoW Amtrak loco (GP-7/GP-9).

I guess I'll have to make my own pumpkin (from undec), but who offers Amtrak MoW decals? I can't even find Amtrak MoW decals for a black RS-3.

(On a side note, I really hope they offer the GP-9 with a winterization hatch. They usually forget these things...)

I do have a question though about the B&M GP7's coming out.
All three numbers you list had the train lighting box on the front of the long hood. Is there going to be a detail part added to these? They only had three GP7's without this 1557, 1559 and 1560. Unfortunately you have already released these earlier.

1555, 1556, and 1558 were delivered without train lighting but were fitted with it from 1955. JnJ trains made an etched part to model the train lighting boxes, there are probably some still around somewhere but I doubt Atlas will model it.

The S-2 gets the C&NW treatment. I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait long. Perfect!

Well, the SD50 in NW was bound to happen as repainted all I needed last summer ....

I'll probably spring for a few 6ft door 40ft's, and the NW 60ft Auto boxcar. Tempted by the CN S2 (vanilla DC for me thanks) but I've not figured how to justify one yet ...

Cheers,

Kev

I'd be in for some of the Kaolin cars, autoparts boxes and the CR gons despite the foobie status....

Did I miss structure announcements? There's a long list of Atlas HO structures I'd like to see in N scale.

It looks like the Santa Fe version has a winterization hatch.

I'm excited about those CR 60'ers. I know atlas has been looking for pics of those cars for a long time.

If you google the car numbers, you'll find them on a site very near and dear to my heart.

I'd live to know more about the Evans gons though. CrQ is too late for me, but I'll be holding out hope for future non q releases if they existed.

Well, the Amtrak 763 (ex-UP) should have a winterization hatch, too.

I'm not doubting this but I have never seen any pictures of this. Can you point me in the right direction of some early shots of them.

Thanks, Jon

Atlas is going to be getting a lot of my money the rest of the year for both of those,

I've got a large group of SD35's now.

But I think I'm going to get the orange "worm" on one of the PC versions.

Definately a foob. The SD50S was built on the same frame as a SD40-2. But cool to see more N&W!

Now if we could only get Atlas to do N&W's GP38AC in the 1971 scheme ...
