Doubling etching for more depth, any current examples out there?

Me too.   

One issue I see is trying to include too much onto the sheet e.g. other projects.  I know I'm going to add some louvers for the NW-2.  But there's always more projects that could benefit from a few etched pieces.

LOL, no.  That night must have been a perfect combination of time and focus.  I've tried to set it up again, and I just can't get there.  Hopefully etched ones will look at least as good so I don;'t have to worry about it.

On a somewhat related note, and for anyone following along, I asked about minimum line thickness for half-etched lines like brick mortar and was told that .12mm is a small as they can go and still have enough surface for the resist to stick.  Not sure if that the same for the negative of that like a raised rivet.

I've been thinking about trying my first etch.  I want to see if I can pull off a Warren and Mt. Vernon circus flats.  With drawings apparently non-existent I've decided to order the Walthers HO models and use them as the basis for measurements.  I may even try stopping in Baraboo to measure the real ones if I can actually take a vacation before I lose the four weeks I'm sitting on.
