Yes and yes in front, it also run on the Auto Train before the racks.

This is a needed car for my Auto Train, hope they also do some Superliner II sets.

You sure?  My understanding is that the transition sleeper is the first car behind the locomotives for the crew's use.  I thought that coaches were just in front of the auto racks.

It looks like this Superliner will have NEW trucks: General Steel Castings trucks as opposed to the German-designed truck for the Superliner I. Or perhaps they are just using the trucks from the Viewliner?

Can anybody please confirm that?

Phase IV came on in 1993 (per wikipedia).  Superliner II Transistion Sleepers were only delivered in Phase IV.

This is nice and a needed car but I would love to see Horizon coaches. Or Comet coaches. Whatever you want to call them.

Finally! Something that should have been done long ago. Every train that uses Superliners has one.

Just wish they would release a new number for the baggage car instead of 1221 for what the third (at least) run?
