Well. I was joking just last night with our club prez that during the upcoming show with our layout, I wasn't planning on stealing away to do any shopping unless some divine miracle intervened and Atlas C55 turnouts magically appeared.

Whaddayano.

EDIT: Yes, I frequently get my exercise by jumping to the wrong conclusion. :D  All it is is a picture. No availability implied, and C55 turnouts aren't even on their published track delivery schedule for July. I will edu-guess that these are QC samples overnighted from the factory, and that, pending approval (something the picture more or less does imply), a container is in the process of being filled with customer deliverables. I think we're looking at September, soonest.

I hope we get these soon.  I really want to have my portable layout ready for the show in November and I need switches.

Paul stated at the Manufacturers' Breakfast in Roanoke that the turnouts would be in the July or August container and the flex track will follow a month or two after that.

Since it's been so long, I wonder what the retail price of these will be.

Code 55 track products have been a source of frustration for Atlas for years:

This is great news. What do you guys think it will take before these are sold out at most dealers?
My guess is less than a week.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

You're probably right.

I need 256 mostly #7 and #10 for my layout project, but since actually putting down track is several months away I'll let you guys fight over this shipment.

Hmm... Kiz is planning a
2-bit layout...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Yeah, "256" is straight from the AnyRail inventory. I chuckled, too, when arriving at that total.
