Sorry, I guess you using the phrase the way you did somehow lead me to think you might not

Of all the things in this thread worthy of debate, this subject probably ain't one of them, lol.

Cheers,

Enough with the pipe dreams of steam,, who cares!!!

If there is anything that is needed,,, the need is for more GE/EMD locos that look like a bunch of spare parts have been thrown together to make a new locomotive.

Is'nt that the wrong shade of black being used?,, wait,, are people sure that the correct dimensions are being used?

It's at this point where you have to wonder what would happen if a Pennsy K4 had been announced?

Well, we had a PRR M1a/b (re)announced recently and that didn't go too badly, considering...  It will be interesting later in 2015 if BLI does well enough to consider duplicating it's HO PRR efforts in N scale.  Now that could get seriously expensive for a SPF.

Not sure why they need to do anything special to the tender. The Athearn tender is fine down to 11 1/4 radius. There is no need to articulate anything, just don't claim it will run through 9" S curves, which it shouldn't have to do anyhow unless somebody enjoys torturing locomotives.

Exactly, I don't get it either...
I guess we'll have to wait and see. I sure hope they didn't butcher it so that some guys can run this mainline queen on 2x3 foot layouts....

Remember, Japanese N scalers have small layout using Unitrack - these models have to be usable on those layouts.  ;)
