I got a Walthers Union Station finished up as a custom build. It was the clients idea to highlight random blocks with a slightly different color, and I think it worked really well to subtly add interest to the walls.
eja here who recently had had a long running thread about problems regarding my conversion to DCC.I found that Digitrax decoders are thinner that my original Atlas PC boards and perform inconstantlyHow did you shim them ???????????.
Love the lighting effects too. Is that a Miller Engineering sign?Jim
I would thoroughly encourage anyone that even has a passing interest in the Clinchfield go check out the CRR museum in Erwin. Very nice lady runs the place, and they have the whole US&S CTC machine for the entire railroad in their museum. There's not a lot online about the museum, which makes sense from the age of the caretaker, but it was so worth the drive, I can't recommend it highly enough.
Hmm... I'm going cross-eyed looking at the floorcovering...
Got some cork down for Penn Station River City.I picked up some caulk today, and with a little solder time, the throat should be ready to go in.
Ok, I had to censor myself here. You said "caulk," "throat," and "ready to go in," all in the same sentence. I'll stop there and let our imaginations run in to the gutter!
