Scratch built trestle on the Nevada City Southern built in the late 90's. Took months and months to build!...

Here's a bridge & tunnel twofer with a bit of a story: about 10 years ago I built a 4x8 HO layout for my kids based on Dave Frary's Cactus Valley project.  The plan had a very unfortunate juxtaposition of two levels and this was my unfinished attempt to disguise that:

(Sorry for the lint-ridden photo - it's all I got.)  About 7 years ago I decided to abandon this layout and switch back to N, so this pike became a test bed for scenery techniques - many of which failed.  To my great pleasure, it lives on in Tom Mann's basement, and the hill above that tunnel is now the site of this magnificent scene:

For tunnels, I still have these scratchbuilt portals in a drawer, but I doubt I will ever actually get to build them into a layout  (Gary would never forgive me, I  I tried to build the Loop in HO scale  :D)

Correct.  :P

I thought I had a picture of the one bridge on my layout.  I was right!

Nothing spectacular here, my uncle added the SF decals and weathered it.  I don't think the abutments ever got quite as much weathering as they needed though.

Santa Fe all the way!

I've been working on a couple, but neither are on the layout right now as I am finally trying to install some scenery.

My first ever laser design project was this bridge for a Z scale version of the Gorre & Daphetid:

I also built the viaduct and the trestle:

'Let' and 'forgive' are two different things.   ;)

I love what has been posted so far.  Some amazing work.

Mine high Cisco bridge is still under construction, but the end is in sight.  I could not have done it without help and encouragement from TRW.

These were taken on one of my modules I did back in 93 or 94 after KATO released their bridges, the others are ME 40' Decks.  Nothing spectacular.
