The first 6 released, last 6 part numbers, come with the alpha decals, the last group of 12, the first 12 part numbers, come with UPS lettering and markings.

None of the Trainworx UPS parcel pups came with decals.  The first release was indeed the last six numbers announced, but these trailers represent those in which the prototype had the new (2003) logo applied.  Trainworx did not have a license from UPS at that time, so the trailers were released without the logos or the decals for the logos.

The first 12 trailers that were announced and subsequently released in April 2014 were suppose to come with decals, but Trainworx was able to obtain a license from UPS, so they were factory lettered "United Parcel Service" instead of having the decals.  Most etailers did not update their web pages to note this change in product.

The good news is that I found six new numbers for the prototype trailers with the logos, and if Trainworx can get UPS approval, we just might see another run of pup trailers with factory applied logos!

I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.

Umm....I have 2 or 3 decorated with conspicuity striping that came with separate decals to apply lettering and numbers.

Russ,

Where did you get them?  My trailers from the initial decorated run in 2013 (factory applied numbers with conspicuity stripes) did not come with any decals.  I just checked to make sure they were not hiding somewhere in the boxes.

BLW sells some noting that they include decals.  The ones I got from Chuck also included decals.

No logos in any case.

All 6 of the numbers I got, 13-18, all have decals included in the jewel case.

No logos, however the decals come with "United dshfkldhjasfhdashfdash Parcel Service dkshfkhjasdhfsah" type decals.  Pretty sure Pat did the random letters the same way I did, hit random keys and yup, looks good.

Thanks Russ, Mark and Ike!

I took everything out of one of the jewel boxes and "discovered" the small strip of decals that was essentially invisible while in the box.

Cool!  Since the first run was "advertised" as not including the decals, I never looked for them.

Now I have the decals to letter the 40-foot drop frame trailer parked at the Spokane UPS Customer Center that is visible in Google Street View!

And thank you Lou for asking the question!

Carter, Spokane WA?

If so, shoot me a message with the link to street view.  I'll drive by sometime and snap some shots.

Ike,

PM sent.  For anyone else that might be interested, here is a link that may work:  https://www.google.com/maps/@47.665667,-117.311669,3a,15y,71.13h,87.95t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sv-eezOabCh3uCqATdBtWHQ!2e0!6m1!1e1

It shows a UPS 40-foot drop-frame trailer still around in 2011!
