Officially licensed UPS product in N scale?!

I just received a batch of the Train-worx 28' Pup trailers.  Not only they have the correct "United Parcel Service" lettering, the box insert has a UPS logo and statement that these are officially licensed models!  I think this is a first in N scale.

While I don't know if it was a high licensing fee or other difficulties, UPS has been notoriously difficult to deal with when it comes to merchandising models.  I'm really surprised to see this happen.  I wonder if this means that we can expect other official licensed UPS items, such as trucks and tractors, to pull those lovely trailers.  That would be awesome!

MODS: feel free to move this to the N scale forum.

I noticed that too...hopefully that means more trailers...I'd like to see some 45ft trailers, 42ft Martec trailers, and such.

But tractors would be nice too.  Not too sure what I'm going do with 12 convertor dollies.

Wait a sec... I missed a batch of actual UPS licensed pups??!?

(EDIT:  Checked Feather River... Looks like I reserved a number of these almost 2.5 years ago.  God, I really, really hate the state of N scale product announcements)

Yes, the ones I reserved 2.5 years ago finally showed up (and are licensed). Go figure....

Now if only someone here with an ALPS printer would be willing to make some shield logos.... ;)

The shields would be correct for the last 6/first 6...last 6 announced, first 6 to hit the market.

LOL!  Alps is really terrible at printing browns (seriously). The older (gold package logo) would actually be easier to do. The globe logo (due to the browns in it) would also be a bit hairy to print on Alps.

So the rest of the pups are being delivered now?   That is great news!   I was sweating it, thinking they might die on the vine.   I was actually contemplating hedging my bets and buying some of the first release.  Glad I waited!

Didn't see that coming! :D Now it would be great if TW could produce a separately-available decal sheet for the previous versions that didn't come with the word/letter jumble decals.

I predict a rapid sellout on these puppies! I just secured a couple. Wanted to buy them all but need to save up for the SW1500's.

I'm certain your sales would go through the roof if you include the decals too

What paint did you use on those UPS tractors? Seems like it hid the irregularities of the 3D printing quite well and rendered a really smooth & glossy finish.
