Some day, I think I would really like to build a GE  AC12,000  (A double ended AC6000).

Probably would need 21 inch min curves.

Or how about an SD140ACe  (double SD70ACe).

Or an SD160.

I'm really contemplating building that BL2 transfer unit next......

I am , got me a pair of shells , still looking into a chassis that will fit . It's a bit too long for the SD-60 chassis .

They usually worked in larger Metro areas like Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas and so on that had many railroads and their yards concentrated within close proximity to one another.
These "transfer units" would slowly drag long stings of interchange between friendly or competing railroads yards.

Go baby go . Your bashed image looks natural as hell , but you show the long half of the trucks facing inward when we have them the other way around to get them closer to the pilots . Just sayin'

A double Sd70Ace would definitely need dual cabs. Gotta be able to see those noses on them.

I noticed it after I uploaded it. I fixed it on the photoshop file. I'm so glad I have a (old) copy of Photoshop, having the trucks on their own layer made it easy to fix!

I also set it up so the locomotive is transparent. So all the painting is done on the layer behind the loco, so simple, but such a time saver.

Anyone want a copy of the photoshop file?
