Damn, that's clever. You never cease to amaze me, Mr. Smith. One observation though... shouldn;t there be a track diagram on that roof? So we know which buttons activate which turnouts.  :D

Some dust-collection piping could probably be made into a stealthy straight-line diagram.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

"We?"
FTFY

No, sorry, it was correct the first time. I was not quoting a question; I was quoting a statement, and asking a question.

Quote
The placement of question marks with quotes follows logic. If a question is in quotation marks, the question mark should be placed inside the quotation marks.

Examples:
She asked, "Will you still be my friend?"

Do you agree with the saying, "All's fair in love and war"?
Here the question is outside the quote.

"We"?

Yeah, "we" are going to distract you with Busty Cougar forum pictures, take your layout and have some fun with it. But first we need to know what those switches control. (he he he)  :D  You know my post is all in jest, but seriously David you did a fantastic job on the TTC layout. Thanks for sharing the story of it's construction.

Today for the first time ever I held a piece of Unitrack in my hands. It looked pretty glossy to me, did you have to clean it before painting?

Nope. After I laid the track (with CA), I applied 2-3 coats of Rustoleum flat brown spray. Then ballasted, and finally added some chalks to tone everything down and blend it together.

Hey DKS, got a minute?   :D

So I was playing with an unknown Nn3 project and realized it was about the same size as the TTC. So I take a photo, flip a photo, import a photo... And start thinking what if I could draw a line anywhere as long as it was over a 6" radius. I might of came up with something like this, had it been

Loop is 7" radius. Others are 6". I know 6" turnouts are doable:
/>Lower left: coal trestle
All the way right: A Vulcan kit
To the left of that: Walthers modulars

Anyways was wondering what you might do with this same space if the track could go where you wanted?

Hmmm... I might tend to lean harder on the industrial side of "urban industrial" than urban. I tinkered together this--

I placed the coal trestle inside the loop, along a street that runs under everything, including another street with track.

Dunno if it works or not. I could envision all sorts of different possibilities; I might post a few more variations when I have a bit more time. I'm going to be offline for days at a time as I supervise building renovation down in Carney's Point.

Dear David,

Please cease and desist all further redesigns of this plan before you totally ruin my drive to work on my basement filling dream layout. I find myself drooling over micro layouts, looking at plans for end table and night stand sized spaces now. I don't need any more inspirations, I mean distractions, from my grand plan for the grand layout.

I would like to see a micro layout based off East Altoona's shop...
