Is there an announcement on these somewhere? I saw them on the BLI production schedule, but it this just another joke?

Broadway hasn't published them on the web yet. Only distributors and dealers have the listings.

Walthers has the numbers listed on their site now.... http://www.walthers.com/exec/search?category=&scale=N&manu=broadway+limited&item=&keywords=h2a&words=restrict&instock=Q&split=30&Submit=Search

As a PRR modeler, I might like to have one or two N&W or B&O cars, but as they're packaged they're losing a sale.  :|

Not necessarily true. The PRR ran a ton of WM/N&W/B&O coal from Hagerstown to Sodus Point via Harrisburg and Williamsport.

I only said I need possibily one or two cars. I have the B&O six pack from Athearn with the McHenrys still sitting in the box. I don't need another six pack.  :D (what did I just say)  :P
Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

The Pennsy scheme is too late for me.  I'll wait for someone to break up one of the N&W sets and snag a car then.  I'll know which of the schemes, 17" or 24", is more appropriate for 1956 by the time they are released.

Brian, I've tried looking up the date of the introduction of the 24" lettering, but can't seem to nail it down. You obviously know the answer, wanna share?  :P

Scott

The cars with the 24" lettering were built in the first half of 1956.

Thank you. I'll share a pack with you if you like. I'm also up for sharing a pack of H32 also.
Cheers,

That sounds good.  I'm looking to acquire only one of the H2a hoppers.  With H30s coming from FVM, there is no practical reason for me to get an H32.  As it is, I'm in for only one H30.

I'll share a six of either N&W,B&O,PRR or Wabash. I only need maybe 1 or 2 N&W, 3 B&O, 3 PRR and 1 or 2 wabash.

The 24" "N&W" started in late 1951.

Thanks, I was hoping for a Broadway Limited link, as you might know, these were first announced in 2005 - hence my skepticism. If they really make them my wallet won't be happy!

As I noted in another thread, BLI still hasn't put up new product pages for any of the newly announced items.  Only dealers and distributors have gotten info.  And this with pre-order deadlines only a couple weeks away in some cases. :?

Yes, John, odd that BLI has not updated their website. I'll order these (again) and see what happens. :scared:

Interestingly this link now yields no results ....
