IMO, Chris is one of the greatest N Scale, if not any scale, model railroad craftsman I have ever seen.No hyperbole.He models exactly the right amount in all detail and feel to look completely real.
Proof positive that the less you compress, the bigger the layout looks, and having tracks, roads and buildings running parallel and perpendicular to the front edge has no negative effects whatsoever.
