Still kickin'.

I scraped the paint off the railheads and ran my first whole trains. I tested the trackwork, but since painting I haven't ran a thing.

That's so hawt. Glad to see this is still being worked on, hope to see more (please!).

What was that steamer on the barren desert of tan? Was that the 2-10-2?

Found a Dunmore caboose I made about 18 years ago  :P

And started fitting a mirror under the bridge against the backdrop.

Who makes that cut stone sheet is that on the (I assume) NYC viaduct pier over the creek?

Those are just Chooch flexible wall sections all cut up and stepped. You can see the ones where the NYC crosses the Erie the stepped edges and been blended with Sculptamold and primed. I could have cut them from Chooch resin wall pieces, but cutting 1/4" thick resin would leave a big dusty mess.

Chris, it is great to see this layout actually running.  A great concept and great execution.  I followed the construction thread closely and hope to see further progress in the future . . .

It's so awesome to see such an amazing layout that follows the simple HCD format.  Always look forward to more updates.
