It looks like there are a few places on line that you can access the Sanborn maps, but you need a library card (number).  However, it may be better to go to a library if you can.  On one of my trips to Waterloo I was able to see the actual paper maps and in there was a detail for both the CGW and RI depots.

35"  :P

well if it's 35" and those boards are 5.5" the board at the bottom would be 7.5". I guess I can live with that, but then the ticket booth must be wider than the floorplan.

You may be able to get access to Sanborn maps in Ohio from the online digital libraries of one of the State Universities; the University of South Carolina has Sanborn maps for most of the state as part of its online digital collection, which is available to anyone and everyone for free

Steve, it was tore down just a few days ago.  Believe me I've thought many times to make a whole layout based on Niles. When you follow the prototype exact you need a crap load more info.

Wait so what's the layout history? You bought a house and had a large shelf/island planned and started, and now it's just a door?

This is the third main layout at the house. The industrial layout is still kicking, along with my other 2x4 country layout. So 3 total working layouts along with some other stragglers   :trollface:

A door just seamed so much more managable. The door is now the main layout.  :tommann:

Took a while to find this site and the date is 1911 but they are sanborn maps of Hubbard
