Looks good Chris.  Nice work!

Where did you crib the car loading hose from?

I bought the co-op shed as a stand alone kit. It came with extra parts on the spure that look like they came from the grain elevator kit. That is where the hose came from.

Really nice build.  I love the proportions and details.  What did you do for the brick foundation, though?  They look like big jelly beans.

Was thinking about this Showcase Miniatures kit for the other side of the tracks:

Call it some sort of hardware supply place. With the team track dock across the street they could sell just about anything.

I like it. Maybe move it back from the tracks a tiny bit more for safety (and ROW ownership issues).

I'd follow Ed's suggestion but otherwise that kit fits in perfectly with the rest of the street; I really like how the mill came together as well, nicely done

You already have the SC kit? Otherwise another candidate for that spot is Majestic Hardware by BarMills. I've always loved this kit since I saw it on my friend's layout. The possibilities of versions are limitless.

Majestic Hardware is a nice kit, but it is basically a small feed mill:

I originally had this Branchline kit sitting there:

But didn't really like the color I painted it  :|

Don't you just love the way those Branchline kits fit together seamlessly?
They are like the early Walthers of laser cut kits.

Oh yeah some of their kits really aren't that nice. I bought their Crosby Coal and the milled wood used for the siding looked like corrugated metal. I e-mailed them about it and the reply was that they knew exactly what I was talking about. And they will send out new walls. New walls came in the mail and they were the exact same thing. I ended up skinning the whole building in styrene sheet.

Slip a piece of copper flashing up in that gap.  A detail often overlooked on model buildings.

Oh if I ever use that building it will get a whole new roof. They are just double stuck plastic sheets that come right off, but it is what came in the kit...
