NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT

The G scale Rio Grande Southern Railroad Company hereby gives notice
that within 30 days' time all rail service along the Railroad Company's lines
will cease and its facilities will be removed and/or sold off.

The management intends to sell the right of way with the new owner
to take possession of said property within 60 days of this notice.

All contracts with this Company are declared defunct and will not be honored.

The Company sincerely regrets any inconvenience this may cause.

This is a good thing.  We just bought our dream house.  I plan to take the G scale with me.

Survey crews were seen taking measurements today in the landscape borders and around the elevated garden boxes at the new property.  About four feet of track was laid temporarily to test stability and ground conditions but quickly removed.  Rumors suggest a serious effort may be under way among railroad management to restore some sort of outdoor narrow gauge service to this part of northern Colorado Springs, but the editors caution against too much optimism at this point.

Gotcha.  I thought “new property” meant you were moving on again.  That would likely be devastating for the HOn3 RGS.
