Not much better than a locomotive that finely detailed on on a layout that nice. Good thing those are safely out of my era, those are excellent sales shots!

Thanks milw12.

Here's some video taken by Todd Skaggs who operated with us on Saturday.  He brought a box full of engines with custom sound and lights by Top Hobby Trains hoping to convince Scale Trains to use a dual speaker install
on the T4 Gevo straight from the factory.  He sure convinced me!

Once again on the war path!  Hobson Yard is doubling!

Here is the final vision.  Currently the center yard extension and three tail leads do not exist.

As of today, the framework for all those modules is complete!

Dog for scale.

Our next show and deadline is in November.  Time to get crackin!

Mark, I love the over and under return loop. May have to steal that one...

Might just want to double check the BNSF text...

My father designed that one.  It's definitely a fun loop!  When we're set up at shows, it's interesting the number of people that don't realize it's a return loop, and their realization is often amusing.

Here's two scale miles of track, crammed into a 5' yard extension.
At least I don't have to mess with yard ladders this time!

I've updated our show schedule for the foreseeable future.  I'd like to invite anyone in the area to come join the fun!
http://freemonebraska.org/schedule.html

The November show will feature a multi-group layout, joining with Minnesota Free-moN for the third time!

Additionally, the N Scale Convention and NMRA shows will each feature a multi-group, dare I say it, TRANSCONTINENTAL Free-moN layout!  The next few years are going to be very exciting for Free-moN!

Very tempted to run out to Sioux Falls. Thinking more and more about getting involved with the Minnesota group as a way of connecting with more operators.

Thanks for the updates!

Definitely come out, and bring a throttle!   The Minnesota group is full of extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and talented guys.

Hmmm, another reason to go to next year's N Scale Convention. Now if only the Modutrak gang would come that far west...

After a few breaks to play with the Fuselage Train and experiment with some True-Scale couplers, I'm finally back to the BSnf, BnF..., BNSF yard extension.

The modules have been cut and fitted for a while, but I just now finished glue-up, so we're ready for trackwork to finally begin this weekend!

Mark, you may have mentioned this previously, but how do you store your modules at home?   Do you somehow stack them or have shelves or ??
