LL-Atlas parts interchangability

I have a chance to pick up a couple more LL C424s but they're missing front end handrail parts.  Does anyone have an Atlas C628/630 and a LL C424 to compare whether or not the Atlas front side parts will work reasonably on the LL model?  LL parts are no longer in existence it seems.  I may just replace them with phosphorous bronze but I want to know what options there are.

Here is a picture of both front handrails side by side , LL on the left , Atlas on the right .
They are not attached to the "running board" the same way but I guess it would be easier to use it than doing it from scratch .
You don't realized how dusty locos are until you take a close up ...

Thanks ,

My inclination is to do wire eventually.  I just think it looks a lot better.

Hi
There is another option.  The Atlas C-628 uses the same top mounted end handrails as the LL C-424.  You could also try the Atlas C-420 handrails.

Let me know if they don't work, I may still have a set of handrails from Hobbycraft.
Cheers

Steve , if you take a look at the picture I posted before the left loco is  LL C424 and the right one is Atlas C-628 , they are not attached to "floor" the same way .
Thanks ,

Since I'm looking for the front side handrails and the C420 has a considerably longer nose, it's out as an option.

I'll stick with the Atlas C-628 as an option.  That good looking CP Rail unit above is a C-630.  The photo below shows a C-630 on the left and a C-628 on the right.  The C-628 has the handrails mounted the same as the LL C-424.  The location of the mounting points would be the only other issue.

The differences come in very handy with various kitbashes.
