Micro tank cars

I was searching for photos of the chlorine flat that Traincat produces and came across this:

Very interesting stuff. Some of the 4000 gallon tanks are barely larger than the trucks they ride on.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

They had some tiny cars like that for Bromine. Apparently that stuff is HEAVY and EVIL and not to be shipped in any decent quantity.

Me too.  I still want to do that really small D&H tank from the Thursday Proto photo thread a couple of weeks ago.

Yep.. that's the one..

Looks like a chop of a early Atlas tank car with a smaller tank will do the trick..

Any suggestions?

NSBob:  The Z tank from MT was my first thought.  Splice two together for length, add the top fittings from the old Atlas chemical tank, and one's choice of underframe, and it should be close.
