In case anyone stops by after Timonium tomorrow, I did some layout prep and got a pair of switch lists together.

And some cars.

I also figured out how to fill in the old turntable pit. Now to figure out how best to hook the tracks all up with it gone.

Whoa, look at that. I hadn't even noticed it until it was just pointed out.

That's actually the second one tonight. I'll have to hit em with some track nails tomorrow. I think it's the weather.

    • Trying to model the BCR Fort St John BC (again)...while living in Australia (what could possibly go wrong?)

Didn't really have anything to post over the last few weeks as I haven't really had a lot of time to work on the layout.  I did however tweak the upper deck trackplan to bring the industrial sidings out onto a peninsula.  This more closely reflects the prototype track layout and also allows for a wye ... useful for turning head end power (and DPUs...if I get ambitious).

More work on panel track car BCOL 6510 for the Prince George Auxiliary.

End platforms, end and side grab irons, sill steps and top hand holds installed:

Underframe brake appliances installed:

Next up are the bunks for the track panels and the deck fencing at the 'B' end.

Off to the Monroe, WA show tomorrow.

Ed,

Track nails are not going to fix that.   Let me at it.

Speaking of Timonium, anyone going? I somehow convinced the wife that we needed to get away to a B&B that just so happens to be a few miles from Timonium and just happens to be this weekend... How did that happen ? :D
