Seems like this might be related to the forum migration to a new server. The attachment is not found.  @tom mann  ?

Both, the model maker @Rasputen , and the author of the article @Loren Perry are members of the forum - hopefully they will chime in. Which issue and on what page had the info you are askign for mentioned?

That was actually my article in N Scale Railroading. Here is the photo:

Sorry Doug!  I got confused because Loren Perry had a series of articles on Rasputin's resin vehicle painting and detailing in the N-Scale magazine.  Similar, but  different.   :)

The articles came out the same month - easy to get confused.  I enjoyed Loren's articles.  Those are the only N Scale mags I purchased in many years.

When I first moved to the Central Coast in 1975, there was a logger living up the street from me who had a WW2 surplus 4x4 with that same style cab as the one on the right...cool truck!

Excellent job painting those COEs. Just wondering, though... they make the tires on the trailers look oversize...

. . . or perhaps the tractors have been over-shrunk?   Or the trailers are out-of-scale? Something is certainly off here.  But the castings are excellent quality, and the paint jobs look great.
