I have purchase some of his 60 to 70's vehicles. They were cool and easy to assemble.  Hope to see more.
Thanks Larry

I'd really like to see someone address the utter lack of modern vehicles... other than the crappy generic Chinese-made lot on ebay... there's no decent selection of vehicles for the modern modeler. How about post-1995 Chevy's, Fords, VW's, Toyota's, Hondas... sedans, SUV's, pick-ups...etc? But honestly vehicle availability is just one of the hurdles one must jump over with N Scale.

I would like to say some of the recent 3-D Printed versions of Semi Trucks I have seen on Shapeways are very impressive.

Have you looked at the Resource pages on the N Scale Vehicle Association's web site?

...but pretty damn good.  Remember, this is N scale. We don't have the abundance of items available in H0.  :)

I have been asked by a few people to make some 1940s and 1950s vehicles available.  Similar to the 1960s and 70s vehicles, these are unpainted resin castings, which consist of a hollow body and a separate chassis/interior.
You will have to do some minor clean up around the lower edge of the body and remove the flashing from the window openings before painting them.  No window glazing is provided.  These kits are $4.00 each plus $4.00 USPS postage per order, assuming you live in the USA.

Rasputen -

I very much want to buy a group of your cars for my Hollywood Railroad. Please contact me at goldmedl@rockisland.com with ordering details. Thank you!

Some of us out here are trying address those concerns. Of course we are still not hollow in our carbodies, but we are headed that way. Our new truck line will all be with hollow-bodies, interiors, separate chassis and glazing.

Surely there's something there you can use.

We are coordinating with John (nscaleaddict) and Brian (Rasputen) to try to avoid duplicating models. Some may be unavoidable. For example, three of Showcase's latest models were one's I already had in the works.

We are aiming for a Spring release of the first truck model.

I just received a shipment of 26 vehicles of all eight types shown in the photos on page one of this thread. These models are surprisingly well done. Of all the resin-cast N-scale model vehicles I have ever seen, these are by far the best. The quality also ranks right up there with Showcase Miniatures, Classic Metal Works, and in some cases, even GHQ. Engraving and sculpting on the grilles is exquisite. Other detailing such as body trim, wheels, door outlines, window shapes, and so on is as good as I believe you'll find anywhere. The sculpting approaches the level of a jeweler.

Symmetry and shapes are excellent. Even the interiors are better than is required in this scale. For assembly preparation, all the window openings need to have some thin flashing trimmed away with a No. 11 blade and that's about it. No mold parting lines or voids are visible anywhere. The only nit-pick I can find is the relatively "high-riding" look of some of the assembled cars (each car has just two parts - a body, and a chassis with wheels and interior.) This should be easily fixed by filing down some detail inside the chassis molding to allow the body to sit a few thousandths of an inch lower.

To say I am pleased with what I received is an understatement. I am truly delighted and all these cars will eventually become "front-of-the-layout models".

Brian Fedoroff has done a great job.

Just rec'd my 8 today.  I am very pleased with the quality of the casting.  Remember the Road Apple line?  These are much better.  Great detail.  Do you offer any other vehicles?  Let me know by private message.  thanks, Craig

As I have mentioned previously, I have accumulated probably 60 of Brian's 1950's and 1960's vehicles and they are all superb.
