Not setting the world on fire with my output lately, but some cricket on the TV has kept me inside, so I've actually done something.My WNY&P C-630M has a new stack, radiator walkway and some Archer louvres for the engine air intakes. Still trying to Dofascorise the GE trucks, not sure if it's a happening thing.On the workbench is a project I need to finish within 8 months. Morristown & Erie C-424's 18 & 19 have their 50th birthday in September, so I want to have mine completed before we travel to Morristown. I'm rebuilding the 18 that I made 15 years ago, and building a new 19. I'll post progress in another few months!!!CheersSteve
I've been working on the lighting for CN 8918. They're a little blue for my tastes so I'll have to tint them a tad and work on fixing all the light leaking around the ditch lights. I'm waiting for my red 0402 SMDs to arrive in the mail so I can work on lighting the DPU marker lights.
Oh, I left the can of DullCote in there so you could see the scale of everything.
Nice job on the lights. I think that's my favourite part of loco detailing. It really brings it to life. What does DPU mean?
I've been working on this on 1:29 scale diorama/switching layout for over a year now.
Thank you - Jeff painted the models for me and he usually mixes his own paints to match the reference photographs I supply for the job. The NAR colour was referred to as Harvest Gold, I believe, and there are some fairly good reference photographs of new cars on pages 12-13 of Morning Sun's Canadian Railways Vol. 2. If you want more specific paint type and colour used I can ask Jeff for you.Tim
No N scale. I spent the weekend working on my club's EM gauge layout. We have lots to do still before it's first exhibition in late March.

Mighty good looking.If I wasnt a member of an N-Trak club, I'd be doing 2mm.I love the way the finescale groups push the bar higher and the standards finer.I still have to "un-finescale" some GWR 4-wheeled coaches that were assembled with 2mm Association wheelsets and tophat bearings. Hoping that I don't end up loosing the whole underframe just to get the wheelsets out...
