I'm holding out for my S-2.
I keep eyeing up the multitude of "China Shipping" containers I see on intermodal trains.

Now that someone brought up the S2, Paul, any chance the Southern Tuxedo scheme is in the next run? It's not that difficult to paint myself (just shoot black, apply decals, and probably a bit of detail painting) but a factory painted unit would look nicer.

I don't ever recall us receiving a shipment in a China Shipping container.

While I am sure that the R&D guys have ideas for what they want to do next, until the first run gets into production, there isn't going to be any finalization of names/schemes.

Paul, will the undecorated version of the S-2  in this first run have both sets of shutters?

Ok, cool; I'll probably just pick one up from the first run and get another shell to paint.

Darn... Then clearly I've been looking at the wrong containers...

Paul,

Thank you for the GN 2750s.  If you make more I will buy them; multipacks welcome.

Pilot models on the Model160 site had/have truck mounted couplers.

Update:  The revised pilot model on display at the Springfield show had body-mounted couplers.

4 sets of trucks for some flat cars.

I think that these are the same trucks [Hart ballast] used in the PRR F30a and PRR F30d cars that we do. If so, this would be very useful to know - and to let folks know that they are available.

Alco S2 Locomotives?

Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac (RF&P) would be an appreciated choice.
