Glad to hear the comments are positive so far.  Mike is being inundated with emails at the office and he's not seen them yet (the poor bugger).  After telling people to email him with advice on making a better locomotive, most of them are "Please make X" emails.  As I said, the poor bugger.

I'm going to pick two nits:

1. It's a GMD-1.  The "GMD1" is a mistake made by Extra 2200 South years ago and it was picked up by the Bytown Railway Society.  The CN and GMD documentation is unanimous in its loving embrace of the hyphen.

2. EMD ain't got nothing to do with this ugly baby.  It is entirely GMDD in London.

Then again, if you want to order a dozen you can call it ANYTHING YOU WANT!  :D

Got no use for one, however I'm a sucker for rare and unusual locomotives.  Might have to get one just for fun.

The NAR units are included in this run... guess I'm actually going to be springing for a pair of them after all.

Wow those look pretty cool.
Any of them make it down to the Pacific Northwest or West Coast?

I did notice a few as leasers floating around the mid-West too.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Well my dream short line roster was an RS11 and an S2; methinks a second reality with a pair of these would be wise :)

This seals it - if the GMD-1 and NW-5 made it to 2013 . . . .

Expand that thought to after 1960, too, please! :D
