I realize the other thread was closed due too much bickering. I just need to know how to remove trucks. I know I will need to unsolder/re-solder wires to trucks. Outside of that, I cant figure how th get them out.
 GENTLEMAN, PLEASE BEHAVE!!!!!

My question is how to you program it

I put it on my digitrax programming track and it said no decoder

I added a DC engine to put a load on it and the response was " not accepted"

Any ideas?

Is there a pin through the frame that holds the trucks in place? Just a guess, I don't have a NW2.

I would unsnap the cover holding the worm down and see if the pulls down.

Worm cover is N616X-00G02

Joe,+1 on this.Looks like two little tabs sticking out of the side of the trucks, they're probably just snapped up into the frame. You may need to push the tabs in,or maybe, turning the trucks after removing the cover/worm frees it up? Tough without having it in my hand..

I think the worm cover sandwiches the frame to the trucks just like old Athearn HO diesels.

Wobble? You could have just pulled the sideframes/bottom of the trucks off, pulled the wheels and rolled them on a table.

Did that already Chris. They rolled true. But now have front truck re-installed, and it seems to run fine! Had trouble with worm cover seating right, it jammed mech. Took it off , so I could also observe worm. Fat American fingers better than skinny Chinese fingers????? Go figure.

Chris, I may have spoken too soon about fixing wobble. Still have to put worm cover back on. For tomorrow.
Then back to detailing S-4 for D&H.
